Geoff Butterworth, Managing DirectorHead honcho Geoff has over 35 years’ experience in transport, holds CPC national and international and admits to learning the borders and paperwork the hard way – trucking to the Middle East. Having gained a strong grounding in road, sea and airfreight he joined Denholm International as East European manager, turning a small, low profit business into a highly successful operation. He speaks working Turkish, German and Romanian and, when not driving a desk, will more than likely be found riding a motorbike. |

Joanne Phipps, Financial DirectorJo joined us from the Cartography Company in May 2007, bringing with her an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of business and import/export accounting and a wide and varied management experience extending from sales and stock control to exhibition logistics. A Business Link accredited trainer, she has specialised in letters of credit and carnets for shipping and carried out training on systems for DHL. And as if that wasn’t enough, she’s also a fully qualified dental nurse. Smile, please! |

Markus Schneider, Trailer OperatorMarkus has a wealth of experience in cargo movements, having started as a shipping clerk with Horst Barthels back in 1988. Since then, he has worked with Brinor International, Bayshore, Jordon, Uniex, and Searl Distribution - before joining the RLS team in March 2008. A keen sailor with qualifications in business law, maths, economics and IT, we're delighted to welcome him to the team - especially Geoff who was starting to feel rather outnumbered by all the women in the office! |

Nicola Mani, Logistics OperatorNicky joined us from Metalweb plc where she was Sales Administrator/PA to the Director. Prior to that she was Customer Service Operator with Geodis, responsible for European imports and Exports. She has a particularly strong background in express logistics, having worked as an International and Sameday Operator with TNT and subsequently as Air Express Co-ordinator and Worldwide Supervisor with Target Worldwide Express. Nicky is a keen sportswoman who runs, swims and works out regularly at the gym -- so (dare we say it) you can trust her to ensure that your consignments arrive in excellent shape... |

Katarzyna 'Kate' Mierzwa, Import/Export Trailer OperatorFormerly Trade & Marketing Manager at Lewil-Iglokrak and, prior to that, Export Manager at Fritar, Kate’s solid experience in import/export transport and logistics made her a natural addition to the team when she joined us in March 2007. Calm and collected under pressure (we’d describe her as ‘imperturbable’ if only it wasn’t so difficult to say) Kate speaks German, Russian and English in addition to her native Polish. Kate is currently on maternity leave. |
